Festival of the Horse
San Juan Capistrano, CA
March 27-29, 2015

The Festival saw the debut of Amalia Boyles on her newly leased Welt Erbe at fourth level. Although still a developing partnership, they earned CDS and USDF qualifying scores at fourth level. This was Amalia's first attempt at this level and Welt Erbe carried her to high ribbons and scores over 65% in every class.  Beth Shafer's Digno also moved up to a level with Donna at this show to fourth level.  He has been schooling all the Prix St. Georges at home but got a bit too nervous to on Saturday.  He piaffed (quite well, actually) through all the walk work but this was unfortunately unappreciated by the judge. After a little lunge on Sunday, he behaved much better for Beth and won his third level amateur class.
