Creek
Hollow Dressage and Breed Show, Ramona, Ca Sept 9-10: Zenon, the two year
old son of Donna's former Grand Prix mare Curtain Call and the Wesphalian
stallion Widor, went to his first horse show. He behaved himself beautifully
and handily won the colt class as well as the Cosequin Stallion Championship.
The win made him eligible for the USDF Breeders Championship in October but
with three dressage horses already qualified for the CDS Championships held
at the same time in Los Angeles, there's no room in the trailer for Zenon
to go. So, he'll stay home and concentrate on being a young horse for a few
more months. Zenon is lunging well, has been introduced to the saddle and
bridle, and will be ridden in spring of 2007. Jazzman did his final prep for
the CDS Championships at Creek Hollow, winning the Grand Prix Freestyle with
a 73.5%!
